An Irish Linux distribution designed to feel familiar to Windows and macOS users, aimed at an easy switch away from proprietary systems.

Zorin OS is a desktop Linux distribution developed by Zorin, a company based in Ireland and founded by brothers Artyom and Kyrill Zorin. It is built on Ubuntu and ships with the GNOME-based Zorin desktop environment.

Zorin OS offers a Windows- or macOS-like layout, a curated software store, built-in Windows-application compatibility and strong out-of-the-box hardware support, with free Core and paid Pro editions. As an Irish-developed desktop OS it is a European alternative to Microsoft Windows and Apple macOS.
