Vivaldi is a desktop and mobile web browser developed by Vivaldi Technologies AS, headquartered in Oslo, Norway, and founded in 2013 by Jon von Tetzchner, a co-founder and former CEO of Opera. It is built on the Chromium engine.

Vivaldi ships with extensive customisation, tab stacking and tiling, built-in mail, calendar, feed reader and notes, and tracker and ad blocking, while collecting no personal browsing data. As a Norwegian, privacy-respecting browser it is a European alternative to Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge.
