Tresorit was founded in 2011 by a Hungarian team and is now headquartered in Switzerland as part of the Swiss Post group, with engineering offices across Europe.
It applies zero-knowledge, end-to-end encryption to every file, with granular sharing controls, access logs and compliance features aimed at businesses. As a European alternative to Dropbox and Google Drive, Tresorit keeps sensitive documents encrypted and stored within the EU and Switzerland.
