Timing is a macOS-focused automatic time tracking app from a developer based in Germany. It targets Mac users, freelancers and consultants who want a complete picture of where their day went without remembering to start a timer.
It logs application, document and website usage in the background, lets you assign that activity to projects, and produces timesheets and productivity insights, with the option to keep all data on your own machine. As a privately built German product, Timing is a strong European alternative to RescueTime for Mac-centric users.
