STACKIT is a German cloud provider headquartered in Heilbronn, Germany, part of the Schwarz Group (the retail group behind Lidl and Kaufland). It offers a managed Kubernetes engine on a fully European, sovereign cloud platform.
STACKIT Kubernetes Engine provides managed control planes, autoscaling and integration with STACKIT's wider PaaS services, all hosted in German and Austrian data centres outside the reach of non-EU legislation. With its German headquarters and explicit focus on digital sovereignty, STACKIT is a strong European alternative to Amazon EKS, Azure AKS and Google GKE.
