PeerTube
Free, open-source, federated video platform where independent instances interconnect over ActivityPub.
PeerTube is a free and open-source video platform developed by Framasoft, a not-for-profit association based in Lyon, France. Rather than one central site, it is a network of independent, self-hosted instances that interconnect and share video over the ActivityPub protocol.
PeerTube supports channels, live streaming, subscriptions and peer-to-peer playback that reduces bandwidth costs for popular videos, with no advertising or tracking by design. As a decentralised, EU-developed and openly licensed platform, it is a leading European alternative to YouTube and Vimeo.
