OsmAnd
An open-source, offline-first maps and navigation app built on OpenStreetMap, highly configurable for driving, cycling and hiking.
OsmAnd is an open-source maps and navigation application maintained by OsmAnd B.V., based in Amstelveen, Netherlands. It uses free, worldwide OpenStreetMap data that can be downloaded and stored entirely on the device for fully offline use.
OsmAnd provides voice-guided turn-by-turn navigation for car, bicycle and on foot, plus contour lines, GPX track recording, extensive map customisation and a large library of plugins. Its open-source nature, offline focus and Dutch home base make it a privacy-friendly European alternative to Google Maps that keeps your location data on your own device.
