Open source, sovereign video conferencing developed and hosted in Germany.

OpenTalk is a browser-based video conferencing platform built by the Heinlein Group, a long-standing German hosting and email provider based in Berlin. It was created explicitly as a digitally sovereign communication tool for public administrations, businesses and education in Europe.

It offers HD video and audio meetings, screen sharing, breakout rooms, shared whiteboards, chat, and scheduling, all running in the browser without installs. As an open source product hosted in German data centres under EU law, it is a strong European alternative to Zoom and Microsoft Teams for organisations that need data sovereignty and GDPR compliance.
