EuOpen Source

A free, open-source browser extension for taking notes on any website, made in Italy.

Notefox is a free and open-source note-taking browser extension created by Saverio Morelli, a developer based in Italy, with its sync service hosted on Aruba servers in Italy. It is aimed at people who want to attach notes to individual web pages and domains directly inside Firefox, Chrome or Edge.

It lets you write per-website and general notes, format text, search, import and export, and optionally sync across devices, with an emphasis on being lightweight and eco-conscious. As an open-source, EU-hosted tool, Notefox is a European alternative to browser-based note tools and sticky-note add-ons.
