deSEC is a free managed DNS service run by the non-profit deSEC e.V., based in Berlin, Germany. It provides authoritative DNS hosting aimed at developers, privacy-conscious users and organisations wanting security-first name resolution.
deSEC enables DNSSEC by default, runs on an anycast network, supports dynamic DNS and offers a fully featured REST API, with its software developed openly. As a German non-profit operating within the EU, it is a privacy-respecting European alternative to Cloudflare DNS and Amazon Route 53.
