A privacy-focused public DNS resolver run by an Austrian non-profit foundation, with no query logging.

Applied Privacy DNS is a free public resolver operated by the Foundation for Applied Privacy, a non-profit based in Vienna, Austria. It exists specifically to provide privacy-preserving DNS infrastructure to the public.

The resolver supports DNS over TLS and DNS over HTTPS, minimises data collection and keeps no query logs, funded as a non-profit rather than by monetising user data. As an Austrian, EU-based service, it is a privacy-first European alternative to Google Public DNS and Cloudflare's 1.1.1.1.
